What’s in the box?

Our produce was delivered yesterday evening! Here are the preliminary plans:

The low-hanging fruit (i.e., stuff that we can eat with minimal preparation)

  • 2 peaches (ripen and eat)
  • 1 honeydew melon (slice and eat)
  • 1 bunch lettuce (eat as a salad)
  • 2 bulbs garlic (scare away vampires)
  • 1 bunch broccolette (steam and eat as a side)

The experimental subjects (i.e., stuff that will inspire new recipes)

  • 1 pound zucchini (zucchini spaghetti – I’ve been wanting to try this)
  • 1 pound potatoes (roast, or perhaps try something more creative)
  • 1 pound baby bok choy (still waiting for some inspiration)
